A Mission Statement (of sorts)
Today I'm just testing the waters. This will be my first official blog and I want to be sure that it doesn't look too cluttered. The words and ideas are the most important aspect. The dissemination of thoughts that challenge and enlighten the reader as well as the blogger. This will be an open forum that will document my daily maunderings. Mostly a farrago of trivial rants and raves. But I want to challenge those around me and by doing so challenge myself. Nobody has all the answers and thus everything here is a work in progress. Learning how to do things better so that the same mistakes aren't made again and again and again and again...ad infinitum. I will analyze and whistleblow, "Offsides! Out of bounds! Personal foul!" I wan't to call a spade, of all things, a spade. This might just be a "no-spin zone" of sorts, though I'm not exactly sure how to define no-spin, so for the purpose of calling a spade what it is we'll just call it a "no-lie zone" instead. No misleading is allowed. Therefore, the whistle needs to be blown. In our own backyard, we need to call FOUL. A blogger is but a small voice in a cacophony of information that floods the medium network. So I'm planning to blow this whistle as loud as I can, and if one person listens, and if one soul is challenged to look inward and reassess--if that soul is me--then I will count this project as a success.
