TERROR FROM THE SKIES

U.S. Airstrike Kills 9 in Afghan Family

Why would anyone ever have any reason to hate the U.S.?

"We know that dictators are quick to choose aggression, while free nations strive to resolve differences in peace. We know that oppressive governments support terror, while free governments fight the terrorists in their midst. We know that free peoples embrace progress and life, instead of becoming recruits for murderous ideologies."
George W. Bush, Speech to UN General Assembly, September 21, 2004

Has there every been a statement as self-indicting as that? But by definition, if the West bombs an Afghan family it is considered collateral damage.

Hypothetical: If there were some terrorists hiding out in your neighborhood, and the U.S. military dropped two 2,000 lb. bombs in hopes of obliterating them, killing your family, what would you call it? Stupidity maybe?
