I love this headline from Reuters

Hezbollah leader Nasrallah attacks Bush

Attacks? That's pretty intense language. Did he punch him? Did he throw a rock at him? After reading the article I found that he made incendiary comments towards Bush, reciprocating what Bush has been spewing about him. Attacks Bush? This is a calculated effort to cause irrational sentiment towards one side, and it's downright laughable.

I believe that Hezbollah, whether you like them or not, have every right to defend Lebanon from colonial invasion. Especially when the invading army is using U.S. made cluster bombs on densely populated civilian areas. If you have knowledge of the actual timeline of the escalation in August you will find that Israel proved once again--predictably consistent--to trigger the chaos by reacting like a child. So our newly elected congress had to reprimand them and stop the sale of additional terrorist weaponry. Here's a little snippet for you from the above Haaretz (Israeli Press) article:

The cluster rounds which don't detonate on impact, believed by the United Nations to be around 40% of those fired by the IDF in Lebanon, remain on the ground as unexploded munitions, effectively littering the landscape with thousands of land mines which will continue to claim victims long after the war has ended.

Because of their high level of failure to detonate, it is believed that there are around 500,000 unexploded munitions on the ground in Lebanon. To date 12 Lebanese civilians have been killed by these mines since the end of the war.

It's more of the same, and naive religious Americans, whether Jewish or Christian, will continue to support obnoxious wickedness and undermine their own religion in doing so. It's called hypocrisy and there is a place for unrepentant hypocrites...awareness is the first step towards truth and understanding.
